Our Customs team is one of the largest in France and has developed extensive experience in all fields with French Customs Administration involvement (European customs tax, energy tax, dock dues, general tax on polluting activities – TGAP, and indirect tax) by working with clients in manufacturing, energy, aviation and defence, the art world, luxury goods, and more.

Thanks to the team’s dual advisory and litigation approach, it efficiently understands the various risks clients are exposed to and can offer full support. The team assists clients in customs management and securing pertaining to flow of goods (OEA, implementation of economic customs regulations and streamlined customs clearance, ruling, internal procedure design, etc.) and defends their interests during customs inspections and litigation.

Taxand network synergies and resources also participate in supporting the Customs team in its supply chain approach when working with international corporations.
